These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Reccoz (reccoz.com, the "Service"), operated by us. By creating an account or using Reccoz, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Reccoz is a movie recommendation platform that helps users discover films based on mood, genre, and viewing context (solo, with a partner, or with family). We provide recommendations, movie information, trailers, and personalization features such as favourites, watch history, and ratings.
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Reccoz account. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. You may sign up using an email and password, or via Google Sign-In.

Movie titles, synopses, cast information, and related metadata displayed on Reccoz are provided for informational purposes. Movie posters and backdrop images are supplied via The Movie Database (TMDB) API. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
The Reccoz name, logo, brand assets, and original curated content are the property of Reccoz and may not be used without permission. Streaming platform names are referenced for informational purposes only and do not imply any partnership or endorsement.
Any favourites, ratings, or watch-history data you create is associated with your account and used to personalize your experience. You retain no exclusive rights over this data beyond what's needed for us to operate the Service, but we do not sell or publicly share your individual activity.
Reccoz integrates with and links to third-party services, including TMDB, YouTube (for trailers), Google Sign-In, and streaming platforms. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third parties, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.
Reccoz is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that recommendations will match your preferences, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that movie information (including ratings and availability) is always accurate or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reccoz and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using Reccoz and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Reccoz after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by applicable local laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by the jurisdiction in which you reside.
